Transylvanian Mechanical Engineering Cluster
Ms. Kinga Kristó joined a group of business initiators after finishing her bachelor studies in 2010 in business administration field in Bucharest and since than she gained a lot of experience in building network and organizing different type of events (coferences, workshops, meeting, etc.).
Starting from 2012 she had been working as process improvement manager for Kristo Company, a spare parts manufacturing company in the Centre Region in Romania. During her work at Kristo Company she had the opportunity to know the key players of the automotive sector (Autoliv, Hutchinson, Continental, etc) by visiting some factories established in Romania.
At an early age she founded her own company in 2015 - Kristoteq CNC Solutions - after completing her master degree in Industrial Management at Technological Engineering and Industrial Management Faculty, Transilvania University of Brașov. A business which completes the value chain and focuses on development of new products and 3D printing technologies.
Meanwhile she was asked by national promoter of clusters, Mr. Lajos Vajda, to establish the Transylvanian Mechanical Engineering Cluster (TMEC) in 2015. Since than she is the cluster manager and she has been involved in developing new ways and standards in the national education system mainly in technical field. During her career at TMEC she participated on several conferences and meetings where she was involved in national and European industry policy making. Keeping the contact with Technological Engineering and Industrial Management Faculty, Transilvania University of Brașov, in 2017 she started her PhD studies in the field of 3D printing technologies.
